Meet Liz.

Liz and her family moved to Blue Bell in 2001, as she began her college career at the University of Pennsylvania. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she continued her academic pursuits at University of Oxford and Harvard University, earning graduate degrees at each, followed by a law degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Upon her return to Montgomery County in 2008, Liz put her expertise as an attorney and her passion for public service to use, opening her own family practice to serve the county's most vulnerable families and children. In 2015, she began studies to augment her legal practice ‒ and pro bono work with the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project ‒ as a PhD candidate in Social & Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge, her research focusing on the intersection of child psychology and the law.

Liz continues to work tirelessly to build a vibrant community in which to raise a family of her own. In addition to her many legislative responsibilities, she takes great pride in continuing to teach civics to our local sixth graders at Gwyn-Nor Elementary and East Norriton Middle School, working in conjunction with the local bar association.

She lives on a farm near Montgomery County Community College with her family where she spends her early mornings caring for her two horses, most frequently accompanied by her beloved pups. A lifelong horseback rider, Division I collegiate varsity rower, occasional triathlete, and trained soprano, Liz's talents extend well-beyond the classroom and courtroom.
